We're Miki and Charli, two clowns who adore children. We bring magic tricks, a balloon show, puppets on strings and off, songs, dancing and games to children's birthdays, parties and celebrations. Every one is different, and we come to the place you choose.
The programme
A full, colourful programme
Five things we bring with us to birthdays, parties, celebrations and any occasion at all. We arrange them around the day and the children, so the programme comes out bright and full.
These five acts are the real ones Miki and Charli perform; we are still confirming the finer details of what each includes, how long it runs and the space it needs.

Figures, flowers and animals take shape from a plain balloon, live. Nobody works out what it is until the last twist.

Marionettes on strings, and puppets that come to life right on the hand. Different characters, different voices, one small story. The children watch up close as every step is led by a hand.

Songs and dances
Music nobody can stand still to. We sing and dance with the children and get the whole room on its feet.

Games that pull in the boldest and the shyest alike. Somewhere in the middle come the laughter, the noise and the memories.

- The laugh wins
- We are clowns before we are magicians. If the choice is a kept secret or a room on the floor laughing, the room wins. The secret will keep until next time.
- You at the back too
- The children are down the front, missing nothing. You are at the back, with the phones. Our job is to make you put one down, because you laughed harder than they did.
- It cannot go wrong
- The birthday child will not come to the front? They become our assistant from their chair. A balloon pops? That was the plan. We are clowns — going wrong is the job.
The duo
Miki Charli Miki & Charli
Miki and Charli are a clown duo based in Sofia. They work children's birthdays, parties, celebrations and events of every kind, with magic, a balloon show, marionettes, songs, dancing and games. "We're Miki and Charli, the clowns, and we adore children."

Actress and clown
Miki trained in puppetry at VITIZ — Bulgaria's national academy for theatre and film arts, today NATFA "Krastyo Sarafov". That's where the puppets in the programme come from: on strings and off, led by hand. She studied this exact craft, and you can see it the moment a puppet starts to move. She's the one in the red curly wig.

Clown and variety artist
Charli has long years of stage work behind him, including time performing in South Korea, and a variety show is part of his story too. He was a tap dancer and danced in a four-person ensemble — that rhythm has stayed in the way he moves. The gold top hat is his.
The two of them
The two of them come from different sides of the stage — she from puppets and theatre, he from variety and dance — and that is exactly what makes their programme so varied. Magic, balloons, marionettes, songs, dances and games take turns depending on what is working for the children in the room. What they share is simple: both of them are working for the child who is watching.

Children's birthdays, parties, celebrations and any occasion at all — anywhere there are children and a reason to smile. The place is entirely up to you; we come to you.
